National Award winning actor, Rajkummar Rao who is known for doing impressive performance in content driven films like Aligarh, Shahid, Gangs of Wasseypur and among others is first time teaming up with  critically acclaimed director Vikramaditya Motwane who has directed films like Udaan and Lootera.

Their next venture ‘Trapped’ which revolves around an interesting concept of a survival drama thriller of a man being trapped inside a house at a high rise building with no escape route for days, without food and water.

Rajkummar Rao revealed the first poster and release date on twitter, “#Trapped on 17th March. Trailer out soon. Freedom lies beyond fear” he wrote.

Films’ one of the producer Anurag kashyap also took twitter to share the details, “Get ready to be trapped. Watch Rajkummar Rao in Vikramaditya Motwane's next. Hitting theaters on 17th March” he wrote.

Trapped is really different from the kind of films Motwane has made earlier and those who have already seen the movie are raving about it, applauding Rajkummar Rao for his outstanding performance. In fact, the film received a standing ovation at the 18th Jio MAMI Mumbai International Film Festival. '

Trapped, directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Production. It is slated to release on March 17, 2017.
