Priyanka Chopra definitely made her mark in Indian Cinema with back to back hits and then bagging Hollywood projects and now the lady has been honored with Padma Shri.

Priyanka Chopra, dressed in traditional saree, collected her award from the President, Pranab Mukherjee, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan marking her proudest moment.

“Such a proud moment. To be back in my country…My capital…Rashtrapati Bhavan & receiving the PadmaShri. #blessed” wrote Priyanka with the award.

Indeed a proud moment for Priyanka Chopra, who not only made industry proud with her work, but made country proud with her beauty pageant wining and social work. The actress got bestowed with Padma Shri title, India’s fourth highest civilian honour.

Priyanka, who was overseas shooting for her Hollywood projects, Quantico and Bay Watch, especially flew down to India from Montreal to collect the honour.
