Parineeti Chopra is back on filmy circuit with her singing avatar in upcoming “Meri Pyaari Bindu” calls her singing debut on-screen a “Correct Marriage”!

“I really don’t if I was caste because I like singing or they made me sign because I was already casted, I really don’t know, whatever might be the case, it has worked out very well for me. I think it is the correct marriage of me and the character I am playing. I am so glad that I got to sing and released my first song as the part of Meri Pyaari Bindu. I don’t think anything could have been a better launch for me as a singer” says Parineeti during her recent media interaction.

Parineeti Chopra was last seen in main lead in “Hasee Toh Phasee” and now making a comeback after a long gap and shares her reasons from missing my silver screen.

“The break came in very important time in life. I was going through some transformation, in my personal and professional life. I working without a break, I was feeling burnt out and I needed some introspection in my professional and personal life”  

“I needed to do better work, look better, feel better, become healthier and I also got a house, there were so many things that were happening that I just ended up not shooting anything for 8-9 months” adds Parineeti.

Meri Pyaari Bindu uniquely pairs two singer-actors on screen, Ayushmaan Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra, in musical romantic comedy film directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma, which actress believes will be nothing short of a “nostalgic feeling”.

“The biggest take away for me as actor or anyone who has been involved with the movie or the people who will watch the film, the take away will be a nostalgic feeling. I think it is not just because of music, you will feel it visually, you will see parts of your life in this film, feel the connection, and you will feel nostalgic” adds Parineeti. 

The movie is slated for 12th May 2017 release.
