Daughter of late actress Sridevi, debutante Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle to announce that Madhuri Dixit Nene will be seen in Abhishek Varman’s next, replacing her mom.

Janhvi Kapoor took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture of Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi and made the announcement. She wrote, “Abhishek Varman’s next film was very close to mom’s heart...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film....”

As reported, the film which also features Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur was already under process, when the tragedy took away Sridevi. It was with this film that Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt were all set to reunite on the big screen after a gap of 25 years. But now Madhuri Dixit is roped in to replace Sridevi in the film.

Apart from Abhishek Varman movie, Jhanvi Kapoor is busy with debut movie Dhadak opposite Ishaan Khattar.

Dhadak is an upcoming romantic drama film directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film is a remake of 2016 Marathi language film Sairat. It also stars Malavika Mohanan and Aditya Kumar in the key roles.

The movie is slated for 20th July 2018 release.
