Actor Kunal Kapoor spoke about his first trilingual action film "Veeram" based on Macbeth where he is playing a warrior.
“ There is a film called Veeram which is up for release which is a trilingual film.We shot in Malayalam,Hindi and English.I play a warrior in that.Its a movie of many first for me because I play a warrior for the first time.
I am doing an action film for the first time.I am doing a trilingual film for the first time.Its been a lot of fun and I am looking forward to people react to it.That was an attempt .I don’t know how far successful it was ”,Kunal said.
On being asked to give a statement on ban of Pakistani artiste he refrained on saying anything.
“I don’t want to say anything about it because whatever anybody says gets distorted, gets sensationalised and is taken out of context so I believe that its best not to say anything about it.”
Veeram is an upcoming Indian epic historical drama film written and directed by Jayaraj. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play, Macbeth, and is the fifth installment in Jayaraj's Navarasa series.
The film, which also takes inspirations from the Vadakkan Pattukal (Northern Ballads) of North Malabar region in South India, tells the story of Chandu Chekavar (Kunal Kapoor), an infamous warrior in the 13th century North Malabar.
