“I am married, it is old fashioned, but she is single, oh man, that is modern” says Imran Khan at the youth festival Umang here in Mumbai.

Kangana Ranaut and Imran Khan were seen promoting their upcoming modern day live-in relationship based movie, Katti-batti, at the NM college youth festival.

Imran Khan looked dapper in his funky tee-shirt, black jeans, White Jordan’s and tattooed arm but Kangana stole the show by porting naval split Emporio Armani Suit. They were accompanied by singers Siddharth Mahadevan and Neeti Mohan, the voices behind the spunky first song from Katti Batti, Sarfira.

So when asked what according to Imran and Kangana, A modern day relationship is, Imran was quick to reply ask Kangana and the queen spoke.

“I am single, but I assume a modern day relationship should allow everyone their individuality, it should be companionship, where either one is not compromising on their future, priorities, things like that. I’d call it modern day progressive relationship. Maybe New boyfriend every day, it could also be a modern day relationship. I am kidding” says Kangana.   

Nikhil Advani directorial “Katti Batti” is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures. It is an urban modern day romantic drama about Maddy and Payal’s live-in relationship for 5 years until a sudden turn of events when Payal leaves Maddy mid-way.

Katti-Batti will hit theater on 18th September 2015.
