Close on the heels of ban of Tapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana and Vidya Balans Begum Jaan, rumors say that even Kabir Khan’s directorial Salman Khan starrer‘Tubelight’ would be banned in Pakistan.
 
Kabir Khan was spotted at the ‘Tubelight’ teaser screening with fans on Thursday, and here is what he said about the ban on his film.
 
“There is not yet official announcement done on it, so I don’t want to react on any such rumors and we obviously want the film to release not only in Pakistan but worldwide”
 
Tubelight  is an upcoming Indian historical war drama film starring Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Zhu Zhu in lead roles. The film is written, and directed by Kabir Khan.
 
Kabir was seen talking about Salman’s character in the film “In the teaser and posters you will get to know that Salman Khan is playing a very different character this time, this type of character he haven’t done before, it’s a very challenging character.”
 
“As a director when I went to him to explain the character I had told him that this is extremely challenging character and you should be really ready to do it and he said I am up for the challenge. 
He has just push the boundaries in terms of craft of acting in this film”
 
As Salman and Sohail are real life brothers and will be seen sharing screen after a long time, Kabir shared about their on screen chemistry in the film 
 
“They both are brothers and obviously they love each other a lot so it was easy for me, as a director if I have to establish that there is love between two brothers, you get to see that in between Sohail and Salman because of their body language and their reactions with each other, I really enjoyed working with both of them” said Kabir.
 
Kabir even spoke on the success of the film ‘Baahubali’ and how happy he is for the star cast.
 
“I really feel good whenever any film does well, we should not see Baahubali as a regional film.”
 
“That’s the triumph of Baahubali that they successfully combined south and north market, for that hats off to Rajamouli I think he has done a brilliant effort” says Kabir.
 
Tubelight will be released worldwide on 23rd June 2017 and we might see Shah Rukh Khan doing a cameo in the film.
