Kabir Khan confirms the trailer release date of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Tubelight. Spotted on Friday at the press conference kept for the film, where the preview of the first song from the film was revealed in front of media.
“The pattern here is the same as we had followed in 'Bajrangi Bhaijan' first we had released the teaser, then released the 'Selfie' song and then we released the trailer”
“We are following the same pattern here as well so on the 24th may we will come out with the theatrical trailer” says Kabir.
Talking about the song, it is named as ‘Radio’ and is sung by Kamaal Khan and Amit Mishra. Salman Khan is all geared up to launch the song on May 16.
The teaser of the film was released a while ago and was loved by the audience but there were some similarities seen between it and the Hollywood flick ‘The Little Boy’, for which Kabir said
“It is an official adaption of a smaller film by the name Little Boy. We took the story rights of the film. The original story is based on religion and a little boy but we liked the seed of the idea, so we approached the filmmaker and took permission to adapt the idea in our historical context and situation”
As we all know that Salman Khan is playing the main lead in the film a reporter asked Kabir about who would be playing the female lead opposite Salman, to which he replied
“The heroine in the film is a very famous Chinese actress names 'Zhu Zhu', we can see a glimpse of her in the teaser itself”
Tubelight is an upcoming Indian historical war drama film written, and directed by Kabir Khan.
The film is scheduled to release on 23rd of June.
