Last Friday’s release Tanu Weds Manu Returns is already on its way to become the first 100-crore film of the year. Being a sequel and being successful, the first question that comes to mind is if there will be a third installment to the series. Though lead actor R Madhavan is unaware about the possibility of Tanu Weds Manu 3, he spoke about what he felt could be the progress of his character.
 
He said, “I feel that I won’t be part of another Tanu Weds Manu. Perhaps people are thinking that I have got too bored with the film series. “
 
Madhavan feels for the character of Raja Awasthi played by Jimmy Shergill who loses out on Kangana Ranaut in both the parts. He said, “My character didn’t have too many lines but Jimmy’s dialogues were my favourite especially the one where he says ‘original bhi yehi rakhenge aur duplicate bhi’. Perhaps Raja Awasthi can be married to Datto in the third part and Jimmy will finally be able to sit on the wedding horse.”
