“Rightful place for Women, We need to do a lot of Work” says empowered filmmaker Kiran Rao on the sidelines of Mijwan Summer Collection 2017.

“Dhobi Ghat” director Kiran Rao is an empowered woman in her own way. She is accomplished filmmaker, producer and writer, with “Women’s Day” around the corner; the lady shares her thought about the day.

“It’s been said many times before we are in-need of alot of work for women to be given their rightful place in every walk of life. We do our bit in filmmaking and I think everyone must. And I am happy that we have set aside a date to celebrate women but we have to make it a daily celebration” says Kiran Rao about upcoming “Women’s Day” on 8th March.

Kiran Rao also expressed her thrill about Karan Johar being blessed with Twins.

“I am thrilled. That is just wonderful. He deserves every happiness that life could give him. I am so happy to hear this news” adds Kiran Rao.
