Filmmaker Ahmed Khan who is busy promoting his upcoming film ‘Baaghi 2’ has said that Disha Patani’s character drives the film ‘Baaghi 2’.

Talking about driving force of ‘Baaghi 2’ , Khan said, “I think USP of ‘Baaghi 2’ is its action, and its sequel of hit franchise and producer like Sajid Nadiadwala who is backing the film but in this film, two things are really important that is its story and it’s a story of a girl and that girl in the film is Disha and when audience will see the film they will realize this film is saying something and I think Disha who is playing character of Neha is entirely drives the film so audience see will brilliant action scenes but behind that, you will see softness of a girl who is spine this film.”

Ahmed Khan attended press conference along with Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani on Friday in Mumbai in which they shared special video action sequences in ‘Baaghi 2’.

When asked Khan what made him to think of executing high octane action scenes in ‘Baaghi 2, he said, “When you have certain actors, I think depending on that you think of making a film. I had two things with me that is ‘Baaghi 2’ and Tiger Shroff so, when you are working with Tiger you just have to think and Tiger was the boy who is always ready to go on next level which was beyond my imagination and sky is the limit when you have producer like Sajid Nadiadwala as a producer. We had to up our game in terms of action as compared to ‘Baaghi’ for that Tiger had to bulk up more, he had to cut down his hair which he loved the most and now there he is, refined Tiger Shroff in front of us doing action”

When asked what precautions he had to take while executing action in ‘Baaghi 2’, he said, “When Tiger execute action scene it looks outstanding but he is very careful boy when it comes to people around him. When he does it he doesn’t stop. I call him a raging bull. When he goes for it then he can go through a wall. There are certain actors who can damage fighter opposite him but Tiger makes sure that he will not even touch fighter opposite him so when actor is so careful so there is very small margin for error having said that, we had safety measures like doctor and ambulance on the set”

Baaghi 2 is an action film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani in lead roles.

It is a sequel to the 2016 film Baaghi. The film is scheduled for release on 30 March 2018.
