Children’s are always been my priority says Sridevi

On Thursday, Veteran actress Sridevi was present at song launch of Divya Kumar’s ‘Kabhi Yaadon Mein’, during the media interaction she praised Divya Kumar for the beautiful song showing mother – child relationship and confessed that her children’s were always been her priority.

At the event, Divya said, “I am really grateful and thankful to people who are giving positive feedback to the song as I never expected this kind of amazing reception for the song. The entire team including music composer and singers has really done their best job”.

She added, “My journey with T-Series has been beautiful. I started my career by featuring in their music album and now I have directed 2 films with them and it’s is relation which I can’t express in words.

Sridevi said, “The song is beautifully shot and show emotional relation between mother and child. Before I became a mother, I remembered how my mother used to talk or behave. She is always at the back of my mind and after you become a mother, the instinct comes naturally. You don't have to learn motherhood.”

She Further added, “I had really special relation with my mother and now with my daughters and I think it’s a bond beyond universe, my daughters were always been my first priority. You work hard all your life to give them good upbringing so this feeling can’t be expressed in words”.

 The 90s' hit song ‘Kabhi Yaadon Mein’ is recreated by Abhijit Vaghani and crooned by Palak Muchchal and Arijit Singh.

Sridevi who made a comeback with Gauri Shinde's "English Vinglish" in 2011, will be soon seen in ‘Mom’.  It is directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Boney Kapoor and Sridevi, the film stars Sridevi, Akshaye Khanna and Abhimanyu Singh in the main cast and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a special appearance.
