Censor Board Refused to Certify ‘Jism2'

News Helpline | July, 18 2012

Erotic thriller ‘Jism2’, starring adult star Sunny Leone, has been in controversies since its making. It was obvious that the film would get an ‘A’ certificate with no doubt in it. Censor board even had given the song promo of the film an ‘A’ certificate. Now again the film is in news as Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked Pooja Bhatt to cut short some of the love making scenes before it certifies the film.

According to the board the love making scenes it has objected are a bit lengthy and explicit. The Board demands Pooja Bhatt to dilute these scenes by at least 50%. Speaking on the new objections made by CBFC, Pooja said, ““I sat down and thought about what they had said. They have a problem with certain shots, like the one where Sunny turns around and a part of her breast is visible. If I really had a problem, I would have headed straight to the Revising Committee. I don’t, so I will introduce close-ups wherever wide angles have been used in the scenes in question. It’s okay. It will not amputate my film. They objected to certain shots in Jism nine years ago but if you look at them today, they are child’s play. So let’s see what happens when I take my copy back to them.”
