Dum Laga Ke Haisha, leading lady and beautiful Bhumi Pednekar says she is really excited for Neerja.

Bollywood beauties Athiya Shetty and Bhumi Pednekar watched the upcoming film Neerja with the film's leading lady Sonam Kapoor, who hosted a special screening last night.

Shekhar Ravjiani, Farah Khan, Boman Irani and Arjun Kapoor's younger sister and Sonam's cousin Anshula and many more attended the screening.

“I am excited for Neerja, I am sure it will be a brilliant film” says Bhumi prior the screening.

“I’d watched promos and I was extremely moved. I think the subject is Fantastic. And we should make such films in today’s time, because younger generation should know, what people have done for them in past” adds Bhumi.

Neerja - based on real incidents during the hijacking of the Pan Am Flight 73 at the Karachi airport in 1986. This film shows how the young flight attendant fought for the lives of her passengers and lost her life.

“She was an ordinary girl, who sacrificed her life to save lives of other passengers. It is a beautiful story that had to be told. And I am glad Sonam is doing it and I am super excited” adds Bhumi.

Bhumi next will be seen in Manmarziyan with Ayushmann Khurrana, which will go on floors soon.

“I am doing Manmarziyan with Ayushmann, which will start in couple of days in Punjab. I am really excited. I’ll leaving for Punjab in day or so, and I hope, with my fingers crossed that this one turns out to be as successful as Dum Laga Ke Haisha” adds Bhumi.
