Handsome actor Anuj Sachdeva who became a household name since his debut serial, Sabki Laadli Bebo, has taken a leap from small screen to the big screen with romantic comedy ‘Love Shagun’. Being as a successful television actor and ad model Anuj is going to try his luck in big screen though he feels he is not an technical actor.
“I am not a technical actor; I am more of a director’s actor. I feel actor should be like a blank page on which a director can write a character and mold it in a desired way. In my opinion director is the key person to make a film successful. How he tells the story and convey to audience via actors.” He said at an exclusive interview of his upcoming film ‘Love Shagun’.
Speaking about his role ‘J.D’ in ‘Love shagun’ Anuj tells us the role though the name is J.D but the character ‘doesn’t booze’ and kind of ‘Mama’s Boy’. “My role J.D is a decent guy. He wants to keep happy everyone be it family or friends. He tries to listen to everybody and eventually gets messed up.” Anuj informs.
Acting is what he ‘enjoys most’ however what is less known about Anuj Sachdeva is that he is trained in marital arts and has a brown belt in Taekwando! And the good-looking actor has shared screen space for TV commercials with Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone.
Anuj who essayed the role of Aniket's elder brother in Amole Gupte’s Hawaa Hawaai, expresses, reviews and audience’s likings are the ‘secondary things’ and stressed the first preference for him is to ‘make the director confident about representing the role’.
Love Shagun is a romantic comedy about seven different definitions of love where the definitions are the characters themselves. This film includes the basic insecurities of today's youth and different emotional situations. Directed by Saandesh Nayak, and it stars Anuj Sachdeva, Nidhi Subbaiah, Vikram Kochhar, Manit Joura, Taran Bajaj, Shamin Mannan and Simpy Singh. The film is scheduled to release on 26th Feb, 2016.
