"My health tip for everyone is to eat dinner by 6.30 and not after that" says Akshay Kumar, urging people to live healthy at the Launch of Health Campaign.
Akshay Kumar has joined hands with filmmaker Raju Hirani and has made 4 minute short film, highlighting five simple steps to be healthy. The film was released under a campaign by Mumbai's civic body in association with the Bhamla Foundation, Asian Heart Institute and the Boston Scientific & Partnership to fight chronic diseases (PFCD).
The short film has Akshay Kumar talking directly to the audience and listing down five small steps for a healthy lifestyle with non-communicable disease or NCD becoming a major cause of concern.
India has an estimated number of 69.2 million diabetics in 2015 as per the International Diabetes Federation. NCDs including heart disease are killing roughly 5.8 million Indians annually.
“Diabetes, Heart Attack, Hyper Tension or any other illness, by eating on time you can curb these diseases forever” added Akshay.
