There were rumours everywhere that “Student Of the Year” lead actors have some problems between them. It was said that the two actors had some verbal arguments at the birthday  bash of their mentor Karan Johar.


When asked about the reason behind the enmity between the two actors Sidharth replied, “This fight was news to me and Varun both. I called him for his Humpty Sharma‘s promo and he said that he saw Zaroorat from Ek Villain. I said ‘bastard you are fighting with me!’ and started abusing him (laughs) and he said ‘dude I don’t know where this is coming from!’ So, this fight was something even we didn’t know. fighting with me”

Sidharth added “Its not olden days now as it used to be during 80’s and 90’s era. where actors were larger than life now times have changed. There are more films, more actors, more scripts and we all have enough work for us. We all are friendly , we all get along with each other very well  and we definitely don’t have any jealousy for anyone regarding  work or characters we portray in movies.”

He further said, “We all are friends, we often pull each other’s legs, have fun, come on its all common between friends. We tease, we make fun that’s how guys bash each other in friendship. Now we often pull Arjun Kapoor’s legs calling him “sir, sir” as his last movie was hit. In short its nothing like “why him yaar, why not me” when it comes to roles”.
