South superstar Dhanush happens to be all excited with all the responses and reviews that has been getting for his act in ‘Shamitabh’, the actor is been highly praised by his fans and followers all over.
However, Dhanush happens to be all overwhelmed with one particular text message sent by one of the finest Director’s of Indian Film Industry, Mani Ratnam.
The actor in an interview said, “Mani Ratnam Sir texted me to tell me how much he liked Shamitabh. Such praise means a lot to any artist. I consider myself exceptionally blessed to be associated with artistes who are constantly re-writing cinematic history,”
‘Shamitabh’ happened to Dhanush’s second film in Bollywood. The actor in an interview stated that prior to ‘Shamitabh’ he had received almost 33 scripts which he rejected as he didn’t find it all interesting till ‘Shamitabh’ came his way.
As the actor said, "I am aware I am not a conventionally good-looking hero. I did not see myself fitting in the 33 scripts that came to me before ‘Shamitabh’ did. It was only with Balki's film that I felt an immediate empathy."
Other than Dhanush, ‘Shamitabh’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Hassan in lead.
‘Shamitabh’, released all over on 6th February.
