Movie Review

Rating :

Verdict : One time watch

Story : "Loveshuda" has all the clichés of a romance-comedy, but what makes it interesting is its treatment. The romance that extends barely four years begins before bachelor’s party and finishes up after a bachelorette party.

Between these two parties is the story of an obedient boy Gaurav Gaurav (Girish Kumar) who finds the affection for his life, Pooja (Navneet Kaur Dhillon) subsequent to being bound and wedded to Vandana, chosen by her elder sister Garima Trehan (Tisca Chopra).

What's Hot : The only good thing in the movie is the beautiful locales and background score that will sustain your interest. Scenes of London, Simla, Delhi and Mauritius have been shot brilliantly, helping you explore these places like a tour guide! At one point, you let the story pass and anticipate the next location of another draggy scene.

What's Not : The first half of the film is intense with the night-long odyssey of Gaurav revealed in great detail, as it forms the foundation of the love story. The screenplay is interestingly layered. Post interval, the film becomes so boring and predictable that you can even guess the next line of the scene!

Performances : The characters are silly and the plot is outlandish as it depends intensely on fate. Girish, as the hassled lover boy Gaurav, torn between his duty towards his family and his heart, is endearing. He emotes sincerely and slips into the chocolate boy role with unquestionable ease and sincerity. Navneet Dhillon in her debut film as Pooja is amazing. Be that as it may, her character is inadequately carved and shallow.

Director Vaibhav Misra intentions was to deliver something new to Bollywood which is rejected formula from Hollywood, yet he just got a decade late in doing as such. The romantic comedy has matured in India now and filmmakers ought to realize that serving old wine in another unattractive contain wouldn't cover their immature narrating. Indian crowd has developed as far as narrating, and directors should as well!

Love Shhuda is an upcoming movie starring Girish Kumar and Navneet Kaur Dhillon
