Krrish is a 2006 Bollywood science fiction superhero film directed, produced, and written by Rakesh Roshan. It starred Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, with Bollywood veterans Rekha and Naseeruddin Shah in supporting roles. It is the second film in the Krrish series.

Krrish was shot in India and Singapore. The films abundant special effects were done in India, with help from Marc Kolbe and Craig A. Mumma. Stunts were choreographed by Tony Ching Siu-Tung. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan, and received mixed reviews. The film itself also received mixed reviews from critics, but was widely appreciated by audiences, who gave it record opening week at the box office.

Krrish picked up a few awards including both the National and Filmfare awards for special effects. Actor Hrithik Roshan received numerous best acting awards for his work. The film was the second highest grossing Indian film of 2006 and grossed a worldwide total of 117 crore (US$23.34 million), against a 45 crore (US$8.98 million) budget. It was elevated to a "blockbuster" rating by Box Office India. A sequel is currently in production.
