Kabir Singh is the official remake of the 2017 Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. Playing the titular role, Shahid Kapoor is a surgeon who becomes self-destructive after his girlfriend, Preeti (Kiara Advani) is forced to marry another man.

2 hours 52 minutes long, Kabir Singh works only because of our leading man, Shahid Kapoor. He breathes life into the character of Kabir Singh and showcases a range of emotions from passion, hatred and rage bordering on lunacy.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga follows a non-linear storytelling format and we seamlessly keep travelling between the past and the present at ease. He is successful in bringing us a hero who is heartbroken, helpless and yet stylish throughout.

Shahid Kapoor's Performance 
Shahid’s performance was enchanting & captivating. He brings alive the characters of the film by his presence & impersonation . He is outshining in the entire movie. 

Kiara Advani’s Performance 
She has not been given enough screen space. The role could have been performed by any other actress as well. Although her performance in the climax was very impactful, emotional and touching.

The songs, their lyrics & music are perfectly blending in with the movie. Moreover, the background score is 'On Point' to enhance it's impression.

Soham Majumdar needs a special mention for his supporting role as Shahid kapoor's friend in the movie. His performance was acknowledgeable & his role added unique essence to the movie.
