Verdict : Expect for the unexpected.

2012, one more hit blockbuster under Yash Raj banners. YR films have always proved to be lucky playing out with romance genre. Once again it hit the screen with a love story casting fresh pairings.

Rising from the ashes of hooliganism and small town wars, comes a passionate love story ignited by hatred. One kingdom Two warriors and they are all set to battle to win the kingdom. Two people Born to hate. A battle... defined by the sounds of hate, revenge, bullets, and deceit.

Parma (Arjun Kapoor) and Zoya (Parineeti Chopra) the two are thirsty of each others blood. It’s a story about two fiery bloods and their fight for power and supremacy. Parma and Zoya’s bloodshed takes a twist when some sweet feeling develops. The stoned hearted enemy’s turns diehard lovers is the story of Ishaqzaade.

Under YR films and under Habib Faisal’s direction the story has been developed really well. YR films is well known for making simple love stories that keep you entertaining thought the movie. It was great to notice Habib Faisal’s work. Ever short has been taken such beautifully that its difficult to take out knooks and cons. His multi shots and easy slip from one scene to another is very much appreciable. The outdoor shots have been placed in the movie very well.

Handsome Arjun Kapoor (Son of Bonney Kapoor) takes his first step to bollywood as a lead. With His talent and looks he swaps the screen. As a first timer Arjun has done a fantastic job. Arjun on screen chemistry with Parineeti Chopra matches up well. His expression, dialogue dialect and the tapori show off show that he penetrated deep into the skin of the character. As first timer Arjun has proved he was best fit for this character. He caught public attention and became the showman. Where Arjun stood as showman Parineeti Chopra stood as show stealer. Parineeti Chopra who made her debut with Ladies VS Ricky Behl has shoot to fame with Ishaqzaade as a lead. Parineeti Chopra is anyways pretty sweet and bubbly. Talking about her acting part she is down to natural. She is the eye catching factor. She has been the best performer in this movie as a lead. Im sure that something that can keep you engage throughout the movie is definitely Parineeti Chopra.

Each soundtracks of the movie are pick of the lot in chart buster. The title track "Ishaqzaade" ,  "Chokra Jawaan" (Lyrics by Habib Faisal ), "Pareshaan" , Jhalla Walla"  Aafaton ke Parinde, Pareshaan (remix) are most loved tracks this season. The music of the film is majorly composed by acclaimed music director Amit Trivedi and all lyrics penned by Kausar Munir. The story line and the songs take you to a tour to UP- Bihar side.

Aarti Bajaj’s editing, Hemant Chaturvedis Cinematography has added up spice to the movie flavor. The movie started off as expected. As the reel rolled the movie flow was predictable. As I said earlier Expect for the unexpected, proves out to be true. The climax had big twist which was beyond the click of normal closing expectation.

My verdict

Nothing great to do this weekend! Here’s a great news Romance with action drama package is here. "Ishaqzaade’’ would be good choice in your daily routine. The movie has Action, Drama and Romance all in one. More over a fresh pairing of Arjun Kapoor and  Parineeti Chopra are worth watching. The simple yet complicated love story stands out to be rated as good.
