Verdict : Watch if only if you're a die-hard Nana Patekar fan
Story:-
After a decade, encounter specialist Sadhu Agashe is retired and enjoying a quite, retired life in Goa, fishing, cooking and spending quality with his adolescent son. Circumstances lead Sadhu to pick up the gun again to restore order as little has changed in the city. New state government reassigns Sadhu, keeping all his legal issues at bay and Sadhu as usual with his tricks and devious mind, set his eyes on underworld. Quickly he takes to his street network to assess the state of the affairs and in some time, Old Sadhu is back with blazing guns, which increase the body count.
Police department is not happy with Sadhu’s return, especially Suryakant Thorat (Ashtush Rana) who holds a grudge but with little screen time, he is like a little duck, ready for roast.
Gul Panag is a crime reporter who is on a mission to finish her deceased father’s book, associates with Agashe for mutual help. Mohan Agashe as Pradhan now retired has little to do. Raj Zutshi's as a baddie is confined to the wheelchair but still a menace.
Positive points:-
Nana Patekar makes a comeback after a decade. The 64 year old star acts and breaths exactly like the old Sadhu and watching him is a feast in itself. Movie has new elements in star cast and movie moves forward from the point where it’s left in the last one. Tender and loving yet unspoken love between father and son is truly remarkable.
Negative points:-
A horrific camera work and an even worse background score. Ashutosh Rana disappoints with his role and acting skills. Gul Panag has absolutely no clue what-so-ever, what she needs to do. Her character is all over the place.
Technical points:-
This movie is technically hilarious, its narrative is even more so! Story line is weak, characters keep popping up and Sadhu keeps popping them down, for no particular reason. Star cast and lack of visible characterization kills the movie. Camera work is weak and sloppy. Background score is even bigger disappointment.
