Verdict : watchable only for 'Skin Show' or advisably save money!

It looks like this November month has been bad for films, and to add one more name on it is ‘Zid’, the Erotic-Thriller is been penned down bad with critically and commercially too. Bollywood film-goers have witness numerous erotic-thrillers in past few years with films like ‘Murder’, ‘ Jism’, ‘Murder-2’, ‘Hate-Story’ and many others where skin-show and thrill goes hand-in-hand. But Honestly ‘Zid’ is no-where near to this mention films.

Starting with the script and screenplay, the film is totally going directional less just like a ‘Ship moving the in middle sea without a captain’. The viewers won’t find any logic of the plot with turns of events. You’ll get to know the terms like ‘Why’, ‘Where’ ‘How’ more importantly as story goes these are thing you are going ask yourself and frankly you won’t get any answer of it.

As there is nothing much to add in story-telling, performance is also on the same level, Karanvir Sharma is quite watchable for while and Shraddha Das have not kept much due to some less screen-time. Coming to the main lead Mannara, who has been quite vulnerable when it came to her character, it won’t be evident to compare her to actress like Mallika Sherawat, Bipasha Basu, Jacqueline Fernandez and Udita Goswami who have manage to raise the bar of ‘Sensuality’ and ‘Boldness’ in past on silver screen.

The music of film is the only soul savior with chartbuster songs like ‘Tu Zaroori’ and ‘Saanson Ko" supported by the good cinematography, screen presentation and good location of Goa where film is been shot.
 Overall the film is only about little bit ‘Skin-Show’ and predictable story, the film plot only goes with romance, love, sex, betrayal and hate where none of this elements comes out to be pure.
