Verdict : One Time Watch
Story: The sequel once again brings back the daredevil officer, ACP Yashvardhan (John Abraham) but this time he has a bigger job to do than just the Mumbai police work. After a series of killings of RAW agents become rampant in China, an investigation team is set up to nab the traitor who has been exposing the undercover agents. RAW sends Yash and KK (Sonakshi Sinha) on the mission to capture the traitor and protect their agents. They soon find a lead to Shiv Sharma (Tahir Raj Bhasin) and are confirmed that he is their target. A cat and mouse chase further begins between the agents and Sharma.
What’s hot: Packed with decent action and a cliched but gripping narrative, Force 2 comes as a surprise entertainer.Breathtaking aerial shots are Force 2’s biggest attraction.
What's not : From Mission Impossible to The Peacemaker to A good Day To Die Hard, many Hollywood hits have their reflection in Force 2. However, the blending doesn’t work. The film is basically an extended chase scene with a smattering of plot thrown in. Some of the unending car, bike, and foot chase portions are genuinely thrilling, but after a point, you begin to feel like you’re trapped in a video game because it’s so repetitive and relentless and because you’re never truly invested in the characters.
Overall, Abraham is efficient and does what he needs to. His super toned muscles are used well to get rid of the bad guys, but not even the most impressive bod can rise above a sluggish script.
