The stage is set for the 49th edition of Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) to dazzle fashion enthusiasts once again. Scheduled to take place from 13th to 17th March 2024 at the prestigious Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, the event promises to be a showcase of style innovation and trendsetting fashion and beauty.
 
The return of India's largest Fashion Week to Mumbai has sparked anticipation and excitement among fashion aficionados. The event, hosted by House of Lakmē, FDCI, and Reliance Brands, aims to redefine Indian fashion by weaving together narratives of fashion, beauty, modernity, and individual expression.
 
The 49th edition of Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI will open with the much-awaited INIFD Presents GenNext show, followed by the premier of a Fashion x Beauty Trend Magazine, the LFW Edition. This trend magazine, presented by Lakmē, will unveil the 2024/25 global trends across fashion, beauty, design, and lifestyle, setting the tone for the event.
 
The event will culminate with the House of Lakmē Grand Finale on 17th March, featuring the showcase of an award-winning couturier's new collection, adding a grand finale to the five-day extravaganza.
 
The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), with its more than 400 members, plays a pivotal role in promoting and showcasing the nation's finest fashion and creative talent. FDCI will host three showcases, including FDCI Presents 'Measure' featuring an international designer and GQ X FDCI Men's Edit featuring renowned designers.
 
Reliance Brands, a key player in India's luxury and fashion industries, operates Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI and is committed to nurturing young designers and promoting sustainability in fashion. The Circular Design Challenge, a global initiative launched in collaboration with R|Elan TM and the UN, will showcase the talent of winner Anish Malpani of 'Without' to the world this season.
 
Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI will be live-streamed across various platforms, including JioCinema, JioTV, Lakmē's social media handles, and the LFW and FDCI social media channels, ensuring that the event reaches a wide audience both in India and globally.
