Sonakshi Sinha who has been heaping praises for her role of Fareedan and Rehana, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus 'Heeramandi : The Diamond Bazaar' says that the filmmaker is an encyclopaedia of films. 
 
The most anticipated series of the year  'Heeramandi : The Diamond Bazaar' is finally streaming on netflix and the audience is going gaga over the grandeur of the show.
 
In a panel discussion with the cast of Heeramandi, we asked Sonakshi Sinha about Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and she said, “Just watching him you learn so much. He is an institution in himself. He has got so much knowledge of music, culture, dance, every art form possible. He is a genius, an encyclopaedia of films. I have learnt a lot while working with him"
 
'Heeramandi : The Diamond Bazaar' is a period drama series created by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The series is about the lives of courtesans at the red-light district of Heera-Mandi in Lahore, during the Indian Independence Movement  against the British Raj. The series is currently streaming on Netflix.
 
The series stars an incredible ensemble, including Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Farida Jalal, Taha Shah Badussha, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman and more.
