Actress Adah Sharma, known for stellar performances, said while playing a character, she is not Adah, but on social media she is hundred percent real, her own self.
Adah Sharma was interacting with the media during a launch event in Mumbai.
Talking about celebrities being faces of many brands and causes, Adah said, “It is good, if you have an actor or known personality, reaching the audience or connecting with people become easier.”
“As an actor you can connect with the audience through your films, or through real life, because we all are on social media. When I am doing a film, I am playing a character, so that is not Adah Sharma, I try and keep Adah away from the character, so that audience can see the character, like Bastar, The Kerala Story, or 1920, you see my point, I am not a ghost in real life, I am not a soldier in real life, I try that through films, to connect with people.”
“But on social media, I try and keep it real, I try to be me, as much as it is allowed, all my videos are hundred percent real, but if I am doing a film or some brand promotion, then perhaps I am being 80 percent real and 20 precent is the idea of other people. I like to connect with people like that, as an actor, as a performer, and entertainer, and at the end of the day everyone needs that” added Adah Sharma.
