In a momentous announcement, producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment, in collaboration with Sunshine Digimedia, have unveiled their latest project titled 'Operation Trident.' This film is set to portray the daring attack carried out by the Indian Navy during the 1971 Indo-Pak War, a pivotal moment in Indian military history.

The announcement ceremony took place at Nausena Bhawan in New Delhi, in the esteemed presence of Admiral R Hari Kumar, the Chief of Naval Staff. Alongside Sidhwani and Akhtar, the event was attended by co-producers Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani from Excel Entertainment, as well as Abhinav Shukla and Priyanka Belorkar from Sunshine Digimedia.
