Plot: After being shot while calling for help trying to stop a violent attack on his high school girl, a 16 year old boy awakens from a coma to discover that fragments of his smart phone have embedded in his brain, giving him superhero powers. He uses this knowledge and technology to exact revenge on the gang responsible for the attack.
The film is based on Award-winning writer Kevin Brooks's book titled iBoy. In terms of script, the film tremendously fails to amuse the audience. With Help of CGI and Action sequences, the film relies solely on the dialogue power.
Tom and Lucy are forced to be together through the story when the film could have achieved the same end without her playing out to be a love interest.
Lucy is forced to be the lady to be saved by the hero when she repeatedly makes it Tom aware, she does not want to be saved.' Her strong character makes it hard for Tom actions to make sense.
The superhero turns out to be, wrong powers in the wrong hands. Tom, an awkward high schooler is turned into a vigilante who taken over by the idea of revenge.
