Hellboy star David Harbour reveals a new motion poster for the reboot. Along with the motion poster, it has been revealed that the first official trailer for the upcoming film will debut this week.
Hellboy fans rejoice, because we are kicking off the week with some very good news. Not only can you check out an exclusive new poster for the upcoming David Harbour-starring movie, but we can also confirm that the first trailer for Hellboy is coming this Thursday.
Created by Mike Mignola back in 1993, the Hellboy character is a half-demon who works with the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD) to defend humanity from the dark supernatural forces that plague our world.
At the same time, Big Red (as he's nicknamed) battles the demon within himself in an effort to avoid embracing his true identity as Anung Un Rama - a being prophesied to bring about the end of life on earth.
Ron Perlman played Hellboy in a pair of films directed by Guillermo del Toro back in the 2000s. The comic book-based franchise is now getting a reboot courtesy of director Neil Marshall (The Descent, Centurion), with Stranger Things' own David Harbour taking over the role of Big Red.
Lionsgate has already release a couple of still photos and posters for the movie, but are stepping things up this week with the one-two punch of a fresh one-sheet and the first trailer.
The film also features Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, Sasha Lane, and Daniel Dae Kim. It is a reboot of the Hellboy film series and is the third live-action installment in the film series.
