Bollywood Actress Alia Bhatt urges all the fans to go out and vote this time and make a choice, on the sidelines of an award show.
Alia Bhatt was spotted at ET Edge and Femina award night, which honoured the outstanding accomplishments of newsmakers and achievers who have made Maharashtra proud.
Talking about being awarded at the show, Alia said, “I am super excited, this is my first time here and to be honoured with Achievers Award, it is always a sense of achievement. So yeah, I am super excited”
Celebs like Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, Sunil Gavaskar, Bappi Lahiri, Kedar Jadhav, Sahar Afsha, Harshvardhan Rane, Sanjjana Galrani, Saie Tamhankar, Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra, Rani Mukerji and Maharashtra CM's wife Amruta Fadnavis graced the award night.
Alia Bhatt also urged citizens for maximum participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted 29 times in an hour to celebrities across genres to mobilise voters.
She said, “The Nation’s voice is the Nation’s choice; the election is for every Indian, it is for the country. So I urge people to go out there and cast their votes and make a choice”
Recently Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli announced that Alia Bhatt will be making her South India debut in RRR.
Apart from RRR, Alia Bhatt is currently busy promoting her multi-starrer Kalank and wrapping Ayan Mukerji helmed Brahmastra.
