The Attacks of 26/11 gets 'A' without any cuts

Most of Ram Gopal Varma's films have been mired in some controversy or the other. Hence, it came as a surprise that his latest film The Attacks of 26/11 was cleared by the CBFC with an A certificate but without any cuts.


The film starring Nana Patekar and Sanjeev Jaiswal is based on the horrific Mumbai terror attacks that shook the entire nation. The film is slated to release on March 1.


The Attacks of 26/11 is an upcoming Indian crime-thriller film, based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is slated to have a worldwide release on 1 March 2013. The film stars Sanjeev Jaiswal who plays the role of terrorist Ajmal Kasab, with art direction by Uday Singh. A seven minute promo of the film was released to positive reviews, over internet on 23 November 2012. The first look of the film was revealed on January 17, 2013.
