Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions is all set to launch two new faces in world of cinema, Sharmin Segal and Meezaan, the film is titled Malaal, the first trailer for the same is out and debutante duo looks promising.

Malaal will introduce Javed Jeffery’s son Meezaan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal. The film's trailer suggests a love story that is caught in the Marathi speaking locales and people who migrated to the city in search of better life.
The trailer is visually stunning with larger than life characters, interesting plotline and most of all the grandeur. The debutante duo looks promising and presents an interesting love and hate chemistry, which eventually leads to love and some heart breaks.
Meezaan plays the role of Shiva, a local Marathi speaking goon who is not a fan of 'outsiders' moving in Mumbai, meets Asha Tripathi (Sharmin), a clam and poised girl, who tames the wild beast Shiva.
The film uses Mumbai politics as a backdrop to show the power struggle and divide between the two sets of people in Mumbai and how a couple finds itself stuck amidst it all.
Malaal is helmed by Mangesh Hadawale and is bankrolled by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar.
