Actress Kriti Sanon wraps her part of the shoot for the forthcoming historical drama based on the epic Ramayana, titled Adipurush and filmmaker Om Raut is nothing but praises for the talented actress.
Adipurush is helmed by Om Raut, and produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. The film is being shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi language; it stars Prabhas as Adipurush, Kriti Sanon as Janki, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh.
Filmmaker Om Raut just took to his social media profile and dropped two beautiful wrap-up picture, where the duo is seen cutting a cake. He captioned his post, “Dear Kriti, it was magical watching you play Janaki. Can’t believe your part is wrapped up. What a lovely journey!!! #Adipurush @kritisanon”
The film also stars Sunny Singh, Devdatta Nage, Trupti Toradmal and Vatsal Sheth in pivotal roles.
A 3D film, Adipurush is one of the most expensive Indian films ever made. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on 11 August 2022.
Meanwhile on the work front, apart from historic drama, Kriti Sanon is currently busy promoting filmmaker Abhishek Jain's debut Hum Do Hamare Do opposite Rajkummar Rao. She has also finished shooting for Samji's next film Bachchan Pandey alongside Kumar.
She will reunite with Heropanti co-star Shroff in Vikas Bahl's dystopian martial arts actioner Ganapath and will appear in Stree director Amar Kaushik's horror comedy Bhediya alongside Dhawan.
