Sonu Sood feels regret that we are unable to pay back the soldiers for all the sacrifices they make for the country.
Sonu interacted with media on the sidelines of a meet and greet with the families of the brave Martyrs of Pulwama attack organized by Guru Nanak Mission High School.
Sood believes the true heroes of the country are our soldiers he said, "I have always said and believed that the only heroes in our country are, our Solider brothers who leave their own lives and families behind willing to make sure we are safe. And when incidents like Pulwama take place you feel extreme regret that we are not able to give them as much as these soldiers have given us.
This is the time when everyone should come together and provide aid for their families. So that when they watch us from heaven, they can see that we are doing our best to take care of the families and the country that they sacrificed their lives for. It is our duty and no matter how busy we are she should still come forward pay our respects and do something for them." he added.
Talking about the event organized by the school Sonu said he is extremely thankful to Guru Nanak Mission High School for giving everyone a platform to do something, "I feel proud to be able to share a platform with the people who have given their everything for our safety and country."
The 'Happy New Year' actor is also traveling to Punjab to meet the families there and show his support, he added, "I may not be able to reach every house but Jaymal Singh Ji come from where I belong too, so I have been in touch with his family, he has a 5-year-old son and I am going to make sure that they don't have to face any difficulties henceforth for health or education.
It is a very small effort but I think people should do as much as they can with their reach to any families, if possible. We are trying to spread the message that we are in support of every soldier and fighter who stands to defend our country."
