Superstar Salman Khan is known for his macho and larger than life persona on-screen but in forthcoming Bharat, he will seen playing an older man, and actor says he had no doubts about the role.
Celebrities try and avoid playing older roles on-screen, so when asked about having doubts about the role, Salman Khan said, “I had no doubts in my mind, because I have played it differently. I have played the older part very differently. I have the beard, hair and all, he is seventy, but he is in his 40’s, so this older avatar’s swag and energy is not really old. He is not invalid kind of old person”
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were hosting an interactive session with media for the Zinda Song Launch.
Further adding Salman Khan admits that his last outing on Eid, Race 3, didn’t do well at the box-office and keeping that in mind, he has kept the entertainment quotient higher in Bharat.
He said, “The earlier release was on Eid, so you know, this one has a lot of entertainment. Keeping my previous release in mind, we have kept entertainment quotient level higher and kept emotion little less. But the plot of the film is strong. You must have seen it through the trailer, promos and songs, that it is a full on entertaining film.”
Bharat is written and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is jointly produced banners Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series. It is slated for 5th June 2019 release.
