On the occasion of Republic Day, actor Akshay Kumar has launched FAU-G, a mobile game that was announced last year after several Chinese apps, including the popular PUBG, were banned by the Indian government.
Akshay unveiled the game with an animated trailer on his Instagram handle, he wrote, "FAU-G : Fearless And United Guards. Face the enemy. Fight for your country. Protect Our Flag. India’s most anticipated action game, Fearless and United Guards: FAU-G takes you to the frontlines and beyond! Earlier, Akshay Kumar had announced the multi-player game titled 'FAU-G: Fearless and United Guards' that will support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' movement.
The game aims to provide an Indian alternative to PUBG Mobile that has been recently banned in India along with 117 more apps.
The new PUBG alternative has been announced by the developer nCore Games and will be developed under the mentorship of Akshay Kumar.
The game is based on real scenarios encountered by the Indian security forces to deal with both domestic and foreign threats. The first episode of the game will be based on the Galwan Valley in Ladakh. It will be available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
On film front, Akshay Kumar is awaiting release Rohit Shetty’s cop-action drama film ‘Sooryavanshi’ which also stars Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
Akshay will also feature in Anand L. Rai’s romantic drama film ‘Atrangi Re’, Ranjit Tewari’s spy thriller film ‘Bell Bottom’, Yash Raj Films productions historical drama film ‘Prithviraj’, Farhad Samji’s action film ‘Bachchan Pandey’ and Abhishek Sharma’s ‘Ram Setu’.
