Netflix's Sacred Games Season 2 and anthology Lust Stories has received an International Emmy Award nomination in different categories. The show, which stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has been co-directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and Anurag Kashyap.
The Netflix film – Lust Stories - is a collection of four shorts by Kashyap, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee. Actress Radhika Apte is among the nominees for Best Performance by an Actress.
Karan Johar took to his social media profile and confirmed the news along with his excitement. He shared, “So proud and excited that our anthology #luststories is nominated at the Emmy’s!!! Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is part both the projects, also expressed his excitement on social media. He shared, “What a day. 3 Emmy Nominations. 1. lust stories (best miniseries), 2. This is first time any Indian film or series has been nominated for Emmy’s, which could very well be the beginning of a new era for Indian content.
