Bollywood superstar Amir Khan when speaks something, everybody listens to him very carefully. Mr. perfectionist on Friday extended good wishes to producer-director Vidhu Vinod Chopra for his film ‘Shikara’, which was released on Friday.
Aamir Khan took to Twitter and shared the warm wishes for Vidhu Vinod Chopra including the entire team of the film and wrote, “Wishing you all the very best Vinod! Shikara is a film about one of the most tragic events in recent history. A story that needs to be told.”
Aamir has worked with Vidhu Vinod Chopra on many projects, like 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014).
About the movie, ‘Shikara’ is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir in 1990.The film also stars actual Kashmiri Pandits and is shot with the inhabitants of the Jagti refugee camp and other such camps. The story looks at the theme of love and how it remains unextinguished even after 30 years of exile. It is scheduled to release on 7 February, 2020.
Upcoming Project, Aamir will be seen in the movie ‘Laal Singh Chadhha’. It is a comedy drama film directed by Advait Chandaan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. It is loosely adapted from the American drama Forrest Gump (1994) and traces historical things that were present in the former. The film stars Aamir Khan as the title character, while Kareena Kapoor Khan portrays his love interest. Mona Singh and Vijay Sethupathi play supporting roles. It is scheduled to release on 25 December 2020.
